RECYCLE FASHION SHOW
DYNAMICS:
- This is open to all SFC members. There is only one entry (Designer) per Region/Country.

- Each designer is allowed to submit three pieces.
- The intention of this competition is to demonstrate the creative transformation and/or repurposing of materials that would otherwise be discarded. The show will also focus on promoting thoughts of resource conservation and environmental responsibility.
- Recycled Fashion Show must be made of at least 75% recycled or reused materials that otherwise would be thrown away or recycled. Complete outfits are recommended.
- Designer may use materials for construction such as glue, tape, dyes, marker, staples, stead, zippers, elastic, wire, Velcro, boning, grommets, laces, starch, paint, etc.
- Recycled fabric may be used as a lining and details but should not be the main source of the garment. Vintage clothes and clothes made out of trash bags will not be accepted.
- Footwear made from trash is preferred. Street shoes are acceptable. Shoes must be safe to walk in. Good workmanship is encouraged.
- Garment materials which are not acceptable include:
- a. Any materials which have not been previously used at least once.
- b. For model and audience safety, toxic materials which give off fumes, chemicals, or particulate matter such as Fiberglass insulation are unacceptable.
- c. Sharp edges that might cut the model or fly off the garment when on the runway are unacceptable.
- All Artists selected to be in the show will be responsible for:
- a. Supplying a model for the fashion show, be it themselves, friend, or professional model.
- b. Artists/Models will be responsible for their own hair/makeup/accessories
- c. Artists/Models will be responsible for participation in fashion show rehearsals as scheduled.

SPEED WALL CLIMBING (3 Heats best of 3)
I. DYNAMICS:
- This game is open to all SFC members. Each region/country is allowed to have only one representative.
- Deadline for the submission of entries is on or before January 20, 2010.

- We have two Category one for sister and one for brother.
- The first and the fastest climber to reach the top and make the “Tap out” win the contest.
II. SAFETY RULES:
Always check your gear before climbing:
- Harness
- Rock Shoes
- Belayer – Persons on the other side of your rope whose responsible in rappelling you down after you climb.
- Carabineer
Never play around or swing to the other wall while you’re climbing to your respective wall.

GIANT MAZE
DYNAMICS:
- This game is open to all SFC members. One entry per region/country is allowed. All competition will happen on Friday, February 19, 2010.
- Deadline for the submission of entries is on or before January 20, 2010.

- Drawing of lots and bracketing will be done by Competitions Committee beforehand.
- Each team should be composed of exactly 10 members.
- There will be a giant maze that each team must accomplish. Each team’s run will be timed. The team with the shortest time wins.

NATURE RACE: THE AMAZING RACE ADVENTURE
DYNAMICS:
- Only one entry per region/country is allowed. This competition is open to all SFC members.
- All Regions should register and email their entries and confirmed players to the Competition Committee This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it on or before January 20, 2010. All competition will happen on Friday, February 19, 2010.
- Each team must be composed of 6 members, specifically 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Willing to test endurance and need to survive to do a lot of walking and running around downtown Davao City.
- All members of the team should be physically fit, e.g. no heart ailments, asthma, allergies, etc.
- Each team must come up with their own team name and team chant. The team can decide how they will be identified.
- Each team will go through a series of pit stops in which they will perform a particular task in order to move on to the next stop. The first team to finish the course wins the race.
- All participating individuals are enjoined to bring extra clothes since the race entails both physical and mental challenges.
- All competing must signify their presence one hour before the start of competitions. They shall show up at least one hour before their scheduled playing time. The group who will not comply may be disqualified.

SFC SONGWRITING
MECHANICS
- This competition is open to all SFC Members. Only two entries per Region/Country are allowed.
- Composition must be in line with any of the following SFC Advocacies.
- SFC ADVOCACIES
- a. Environmental Degradation: Environmental Protection
- b. Corruption : Patriotism
- c .Culture of death through Anti-life movements : Pro-Life
- d. Poverty: Poverty Alleviation
- All entries must be original songs and must not have been previously published, recorded or released in any way.
- Lyrics may be in English or Filipino.
- The length of the song must not exceed seven minutes including the introduction and closing portion of the song.
- Each composer can submit a maximum of two songs. Each entry should be submitted in a CD format with vocal rendition and instrumental accompaniment (with piano or guitar but not to exceed three instruments).
- Chosen entries will be performed on February 19, 2010 in a full band, acoustic or solo.
- To be submitted with the CD are two typewritten copies of the lyrics with guitar chords and/or music lead sheets together with the official entry form on or before January 20, 2010.
